Greetings!

My name is Shruti. I am a Designer by profession with 20 years of design experience including 16 years of industry experience and a Writer, Lyricist, Composer and a Art & Culture Practitioner. I did specialization in Visual Communication, Graphics, 3D Animation. I also did certification in Responsive web programming. Web designer by day and a writer by night. I like to write poems and stories.

 

I also like to teach dance especially Bollywood free style with a little touch of Kathak.

​Now question is why I am here?  Once upon a time when I was in School, It was my Hindi teacher who forced me to write a poem on Rainy season. That day after school I completed my home work and decided to write. I took it as a challenge and started writing. Ohh my God! I wasted many hours and many papers but couldn't even write any sentence because I was not satisfied with my word arrangement but still just because I don't like to get scolding from my teacher, I just wrote something and decided to show her. Next day in school I was mentally prepared to get punished. But she read the poem smiled and started reciting the poem loudly. She praised me and said excitedly that " Shruti! you have a talent, don't waste it please, keep writing".  I told the whole story to my dad who is a professional writer too. He also liked my poem and he inspired me to write more and asked me to send it to local news paper for publishing. I started writing; it used to get published in "Nari Nikunj" addition of Dainik Bhasker Patrika.
